Forest School Weekly Classes
Fall, 2025
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 9-3
for ages 4-9
Would your child benefit from a day of forest school each week? We provide a child-centered environment of outdoor play and learning on ten acres of woodlands and fields. Our space is screen- and technology-free. Instead of toys, kids play with the elements of the natural world—rocks, wood, water, plants—as well as our collection of “loose parts”. At a relaxed pace we teach basic naturalist skills, outdoor cooking, gardening, and use of hand tools for building.
Many of our kids come here weekly for a “day-out”, with the full cooperation of their public school teachers. We also serve the homeschooling community.
Fall Session: 14 weeks from 9/9/25 through 12/12/25
9am - 3pm / Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
Morning snack is included.
Cost for Fall Session (14 weeks):
Sliding scale: $800 - $900 for one day/week
WInter Session will run January - March (12 weeks / $700-$800)
Spring Session will run April - June (12 weeks / $700-$800)

1-4 PM
for ages 4-9
September 7 through November 23
Sign up for the full 12 weeks for $350
Or drop in by the day for $40/day
Just like our weekday classes, our 3-hour Sunday class will incorporate walks in the woods, and playtime both outdoors and in our yurt. We’ll make campfires, cook snacks, and sharpen our naturalist skills throughout the seasons.
(Sunday classes will be offered in winter and spring as well)
Sample Daily Schedule
8:50 - 9:10 drop off
9 am campfire and gathering time; snacks are cooked over the fire

10 am walk
12 noon Lunch
12:30 -2 pm reading, games and rest in the yurt

2 - 3 pm outdoor play and crafts
